Once you’ve downloaded and installed VLC you can connect to any repeater like this (Windows shown, but the process is similar on other platforms).
FRUne fois VLC installé, vous pouvez vous connecter à n’importe quel relais ainsi (Windows illustré ici, mais le principe est similaire sur les autres plateformes).

On opening VLC select: Media ⇒ Open Network Stream

Enter the network address
In the “Network” tab, type in this address:
rtmp://rtmp.batc.org.uk/live/gb3oo

If you already have VLC installed and set as your default video player, you can just click the link above directly.
To open a usual network stream (HTTP, RTSP, RTMP, MMS, FTP, etc.), just enter the URL in the field above. If you want to open a RTP or UDP stream, press the button below.
Press the “Play” button and after 15 seconds or so the picture (and sound, if present) of the repeater output will appear. You can substitute the repeater callsign for other TV repeater callsigns, or for the weekly “oscar100net” — the BATC weekly satellite network, Thursday evenings from around 19:00.
FRDans l’onglet « Réseau », saisissez l’adresse ci-dessus. Si VLC est déjà installé et configuré comme lecteur vidéo par défaut, vous pouvez simplement cliquer sur le lien. Appuyez sur « Lecture » et, après environ 15 secondes, l’image (et le son, le cas échéant) du relais apparaîtra. Vous pouvez remplacer l’indicatif par celui d’un autre relais TV, ou par « oscar100net » — le réseau satellite hebdomadaire de la BATC, le jeudi soir vers 19h00.
Stream dropping out? Try this
If you find the internet web stream occasionally stops, you can improve resilience with a few tweaks to the VLC configuration.
FRSi le flux internet s’interrompt occasionnellement, vous pouvez améliorer la stabilité en ajustant quelques réglages dans VLC.
Tools ⇒ Preferences ⇒ Show Settings (Radio: All) ⇒ Input/Codecs ⇒ Advanced — change the following:
You can experiment with higher values, depending on your internet connection speed.
Then press “SAVE”! You’ll need to restart VLC for the new settings to take effect.
FROutils ⇒ Préférences ⇒ Afficher les paramètres (Interface : Tous) ⇒ Entrée/Codecs ⇒ Avancé — modifiez les valeurs de mise en cache ci-dessus (vous pouvez expérimenter avec des valeurs plus élevées selon la vitesse de votre connexion). Cochez également « Reconnexion automatique » dans Entrée/Codecs ⇒ Modules d’accès ⇒ HTTP(S). Appuyez ensuite sur « ENREGISTRER » ! Un redémarrage de VLC est nécessaire pour appliquer les nouveaux réglages.

Works for any repeater. Just substitute gb3oo in the address for any other TV repeater callsign — or try oscar100net for the BATC weekly satellite network, Thursdays from around 19:00.
